Feed More HQ
Overview
As Central Virginia’s core hunger-relief organization, Feed More collects, prepares, and distributes food to neighbors in need. Feed More’s new 105,000 SF design-build highbay distribution warehouse facility in the Villa Park section of Henrico Co., Virginia serves processing, distribution, and managerial/support functions to carry out Feed More’s mission. The building sits on approximately 10 acres of undeveloped land. The site was fully developed to provide suitable functions to support the distribution building.
The facility is of modern warehouse construction (tilt-up concrete exterior wall panels, steel frame, membrane roof, interior mezzanine, warehouse specialties, etc.). The building contains approximately 70,000 GSF of dry, frozen, and cooled warehouse space with high-bay racking systems and a production/packaging kitchen. An interior mezzanine and ground-floor areas provide space for operational support services: office, meeting, training, volunteer, sorting/packing, and store spaces.
